When the Word of God is planted in your heart, the seed grows effortlessly, without any struggle
Mark 11:23–24 (NKJV) says, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
When Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11, He believed that what He said came to pass and that the fig tree died that instant. Nothing had changed on the outside in that moment, but when He spoke to it, the roots began to die.
Proverbs 3:3–4 (NLT) says, “Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.
But how do you write on your heart?
Psalm 45:1 (NKJV) says, “My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
So, when you begin to say things that you WANT to see such as, “I’m blessed, I’m healthy, Good things are happening in my life,” etc., you begin to write things on your heart!
We are just tempted to say how bad everything is or how bad we feel.
Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
When you open your mouth, remember that you are writing a story on your heart.
