Most Christians today believe that the main purpose of the resurrection is to go to heaven. But the first believers believed that, even more importantly, the resurrection birthed the beginning of that same power existing on the inside of us, causing us to be able to live the way Jesus lived.

In Matthew 19, It says that, “All things are possible with God,” and Mark 9 dives in even further, telling us that, “All things are possible to him that believes.” A miracle involves the superseding or suspension of God’s natural laws, whereas a blessing works within natural and spiritual laws.

God is always wanting to move on your behalf, because He is a good father and He is for you.

While there’s nothing wrong with believing for a miracle, living the blessed life is so much better! Romans 8:11 (NLT) says, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”

So that same power is living on the inside of us, available to us, just as it was to Jesus. God has more than what we are believing for or even desiring for.

You just have to know what your Father wants for you: God’s desire is for you to prosper (Ps. 35:27). God’s will is for you to be healthy (3 John 2). God’s will is for you to be above only and not beneath (Deut. 28:13).

Here are some simple steps to get you started!

- Get God’s Word planted in your heart.

- Don’t abandon what God has promised.

- Renew your mind, reminding yourself of God’s promises

Let’s go forward, living the blessed life!
