John 14:26 (NKJV) says, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

The Holy Spirit is the “spirit of truth.” He is our helper, our counselor and our guide. He teaches us who we are and helps us fulfill God’s plan for our lives. This is why the Holy Spirit is so important! We need to know Him.

Some people think the Holy Spirit is only in us to convict us and make us feel guilty about things. But in reality, He is our encourager, our advocate, our intercessor; He leads us to a deeper knowledge of the truth and gives us divine strength when we need it.

Colossians 3:15 (GNB) says, “The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful.”

We see from this scripture that is actually by PEACE, that the Holy Spirit guides us and not by guilt or fear. The more you understand and are sensitive to your inner voice, the more you can cooperate with it.

He is there to comfort you and guide you. Just listen and follow!
