How do you see the world? With all the influences surrounding us in our everyday lives, it’s so easy to get off track with how you see yourself. The real question is: Do you see yourself the way God sees you?

The word perception means “receiving, collecting, action of taking possession, apprehension with the mind or senses.” So, it’s just natural to gain knowledge by what you perceive. You become aware of something through your senses.

The best kind of perception is knowing that God loves you! When you believe that you are special and that God created you, that He is pleased with you, that you have worth just because He made you, then all other situations are small compared to that.

Look at the story of the woman at the well in John 4. Jesus met this woman, naming all the things she was facing, and giving her a way out. Jesus worked through the barriers that this woman was struggling with and facing. Rejection, sorrow, and religion…all areas that this woman had experienced a negative side of and yet Jesus was able to heal this in her. He chose her to spread the good news and the Bible says that many believed.

Jesus wants to reveal Himself to us today! He heals those who have been rejected, those who have experienced debilitating sorrow, those who have been hurt by religion.

Whatever you need in this life, God knew it in advance. He has prepared you and is a giving you what you need for such a time as this.
